SKUNK

Terry is disturbed by a human-size skunk who visits him in the night, so he seeks help from Dr. Merry, whose dream interpretation exercise reveals an unsettling truth.

SKUNK is an award-winning absurd "dreamedy."

    Director's Statement

Nocturnal critters often appear to me like dreams scuttling down quiet summer sidewalks under the cloak of darkness. Throughout my lifetime, I’ve experienced periods of vivid nightmares. After fearing sleep for months, I sought help from a counselor who provided the dream interpretation exercise that I share in my film, SKUNK. I invite viewers to use this tool to enter into conversation with your own subconscious. Reality may not be what it seems. SKUNK was filmed on an iPhone 13 Pro with limited lighting and sound equipment as part of my work with Natalie Mathis Films.
